Okay, I just went for a walk and this is what I thought about: the  Vikings and all the people who are sad about the team’s chances for a somewhat normal season.

I think we could turn around our attitudes and have a No Fun Lost season! NFL! NFL!

Maybe we take a page from Cubbies fans who always seem to be having fun no matter how the team plays.

Maybe we just have to have fun watching them play outside. Remember, earmuffs are not a fashion statement, but a necessity in Minnesota.

Maybe we use this year to improve our tailgating meals! Maybe we get together in our driveways to tailgate there!

Maybe we start reading books on Sundays…

Speaking of books, I want Lance to make one of those little libraries for the front, the ones in which people can take or leave a book . Anybody out there done that?

Oh ,and Lance told me as I came home from my walk that he had removed all the algae and mildew from the front step as long as he was power washing the driveway. I didn’t even know that there was algae and mildew on the front step.

Sigh.
