Hodgepodge ( Danger…No Transitions Whatsoever)

There’s a big full moon staring  in through the window at me.  The ivory of the moon seen through small twisted black branches against the blue of the near night sky is something to behold!

I just have random thoughts today.  It might have something to do with yesterday’s concentration on the one story of  October 18, 1960.

My sister has already checked in with her remembrances of that day.  She remembers the part of the celebration  which was the actual dedication of the bridge,  located ON the bridge.  She doesn’t recall the same speech by the YMCA that I do.  We’ll see what our brother remembers.

Oh, and I messed up on Dad’s birth year.  He was born in 1905,  and I know that.  But for some reason I used Mom’s birth year, 1913.

My excuse?  I am using the no nap excuse.

Yesterday was the first day I hadn’t had a nap since before I got sick with that nasty, drizzly cold.

It’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it.

I napped today, just to be on the offensive in the memory game.

One can never have too many naps.

I have solved the itty bitty purse problem.  Remember how I used just the itty bitty purse in Nova Scotia and resolved to use in back home, too?  But I needed to go shopping for a winter itty bitty?  Now I know this will sound like a super simple fix, but it took me awhile of not getting to Purses R Us to figure it out.

I’m putting the itty bitty purse contents into my bigger, cross body black bag!!!  It’s very light, I  can find things,  and I saved money by not buying a new purse!!!

I know, I know.  Tomorrow I’ll solve world hunger.

Smile!  It takes fewer muscles than does a frown!
