Still Learning

Good Morning, Folks!

Whew! Finished my homework for the class today, but it was a bit sketchy. Time was a problem and so all the work was left to Saturday and Sunday.

And, remember how I had to stop working on Saturday because a) I fell into the little stove, b) the iron fell and soaked the pieces I wanted to sew, and c)I ironed a Ziploc bag accidently?

Well, I did wait for the iron to cool off so I could peel off the melted plastic and then I could and did work later on Saturday night.

But, most of the work was done on Sunday.  I had to stop and take a break around 5 because I was tired. Then I took a break for dinner; thanks, hubster, for cooking. And I finished around 8:30.

And the lesson learned? DO A LITTLE BIT EACH DAY.

I don’t know about you, but I keep having to learn this lesson.

Over and over and over again.

Why is this?  I’m a fairly smart person.  Why do I struggle to be proactive in this area of time?  Are there too many little bits to do each day?  Or, am I that good a procrastinator?

Hmmmmmm.  I have to ponder this as I go through this week.

My goal today is to have lunch AND get to class early.

And before that I’m going to do my stretches because I’m so sore.  Way overdue for a massage.

Here are the four blocks. three of them were homework in addition to cutting the strips for today’s blocks.

first four blocks

The blue and green ones are Monkey Wrench and the stars are Friendship Stars. Today’s blocks are Sawtooth 16 Patch Star and Savannah Star.

Have a Mahvelous Monday!

Hugs,

Janet
