Good Morning folks!
Yes, it is National Hugging Day, so go out there and hug someone special!!! And if they’re not close enough to hug, send them a virtual hug!!
Well, it did snow last night: big fluffy flakes and everything is clean and white again. Amount? I’d say a scant half inch.
Today is my sewing day, part of my plan to sew a little each day. Yesterday I volunteered and then did other house chores and took a nap because I firmly believe that if you’re tired, you need to take a nap. At least that’s how it works with me.
Monday was class and it was a difficult class. For one, we were getting used to another teacher after having a sub for two weeks. Different teacher, different focus, different manner of conveying information, different speaking pattern. Another reason it was difficult was that the blocks themselves were more intricate. And the third reason was that we waited until the very end of class to take on the intricacies of that second block. By then we were so mentally tired that no one was speaking or joking around. I had reached my tired stage around 3:25 with the class supposed to be over at 3:30.
And then we went for another good half an hour. Well, it wasn’t good. It was something to get through.
I did what I normally do to take care of myself when I lose energy like that: I sat a lot. I bring Kind bars to help then, too. And I ate one once I got out in the car.
Then, I drove over to Andover to pick up kitten food. I had called ahead to make sure that they had some and was assured that they did.
They didn’t.
So, I drove over there for nothing—during rush hour. GRRRRR.
It was no surprise that I was exhausted when I got home. Had a bowl of cereal, fed the cat and went to bed early. No energy to do any sewing.
THAT’S WHY TODAY IS MY SEWING DAY!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! And last night’s achiness was not the flu! YAY!!!!!!!!
So, lots of reasons to celebrate today: clean snow, sewing day, hugging day, and friends like you!!!! Give yourself a hug for me!!!
Love,
Janet
